Programming Fluid Motion for Zenvo Aurora


Project Overview

For the launch of Zenvo’s latest hypercar, the Aurora, we were brought in to provide motion control for a hero launch film focusing on the car’s powertrain.
The shoot took place at MAHLE Powertrain’s facility in Northampton, UK, a highly technical environment where precision, efficiency and repeatability were key.

This was all about capturing smooth, dynamic motion that complemented the engineering excellence of the Aurora — without slowing the production down.

The Challenge

Powertrain shoots are unforgiving. Tight spaces, complex geometry, reflective surfaces, and zero room for jittery camera movement.

The director had a clear vision:

  • Fluid, controlled camera moves

  • Dynamic angles that felt powerful but refined

  • The flexibility to refine shots quickly on set

The challenge wasn’t just executing the moves — it was doing so quickly, while maintaining a high level of creative momentum.

Our Approach

We worked closely with the director from the outset, sharing our experience on which motion profiles and move types would deliver the smoothest, most cinematic results for this kind of subject matter.

Thanks to the intuitive nature of our motion control system and Lensmaster software, we were able to:

  • Program complex, fluid camera moves quickly

  • Make real-time adjustments without breaking the flow of the shoot

  • Refine timing, speed ramps and framing on the fly

One feature that really stood out on set was the ability to duplicate moves and run instant A/B tests.
This allowed the director and production team to compare variations side-by-side, lock in decisions quickly, and move on — no guesswork, no delays.

On-Set Experience

The production team were genuinely impressed by:
